Try each suggestion in order, and only one suggestion at a time. Try the first suggestion for one week before moving on to the second suggestion.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1)Sugar: Stop eating refined sugar and switch to God’s fresh fruit. Large amounts of sugar impairs frontal lobe functions and may cause depression.&lt;br /&gt;Hypoglycemia: Low blood sugar can contribute to depression. Eat every two hours. Fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nut, seeds and legumes (that’s beans). Eat whole foods for a whole person.&lt;br /&gt;Food chemicals: Don’t eat anything you cannot pronounce or know what it is. Example: Propylene Glycol contributes to depression.&lt;br /&gt;Over-the-counter medications cause depression: Example: Bismuth (used in anti-diarrhea medicine (pink liquid) can cause depression. (According to Neil Nedley, M.D.)  &lt;br /&gt;2) Taking Manganese and some supplements can cause depression in sensitive people. (According to Neil Nedley, M.D.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Copper is another suppliment that is NOT suggested: Check your vitamins for copper. This may be the wrong amount for someone with depression. Only God knows the correct balance for your body. (According to Carl C. Pfeiffer, M.D., Ph.D.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3) Gelatin Capsules: Limit eating them because of the process used to make them uses animal hoofs that may not be hormone free. Choose a vegetable-base capsule instead. Get your vitamins from your food is the best bet for bbeating depression.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4) Cleaning solvents: Fumes can be toxic to your emotions. Use vinegar, baking soda and other cleaners instead of toxic chemicals.&lt;br /&gt;Cigarettes: chemicals are added to tobacco so it will burn evenly without puffing. These chemicals can cause depression.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5) Beware of drinking Alcohol: Until you get your emotions balanced, don’t let alcohol touch your lips. Alcohol is very difficult for the liver to process, and could cause unbalanced emotions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6)Hormones: Unbalanced hormones contribute to unbalanced emotions. Stop eating hormone-laden meats, eggs and dairy until you feel better. Some prescription medications contribute to depression: Oral contraceptive pills, cortisone and related medication and anabolic steroids&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;7) Consider other alternatives to HRT &amp; birth control because these drugs may contribute to depression.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;8) Headache: Ask yourself why? You could have a food allergy. Anti-inflammatory drugs can contribute to depression.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;9) Indigestion: anti-acid medications contribute to depression: Tagamet and Zantac. Try a two-day fast of just eating fresh fruits and vegatbles to see if the indigestion goes away.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;10) Sleep. Depression can be caused by a lack of good, sound sleep. Try this: 30-minutes before bed, prepare for sleep:&lt;br /&gt;1) don’t eat before bed. &lt;br /&gt;2) don’t drink caffeine three hours before bed.&lt;br /&gt;3) take a hot bath. &lt;br /&gt;4) drink chamomile tea with some raw honey. &lt;br /&gt;5) curl up with a good book.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;11) “Normal” life problems: Losing a loved one, loss of a job, emotional problems that mean you are a “normal” living person. Talk out your problems with friends and family or see a profession so you can “process” your thoughts. Once you face the problem, it seems a little smaller.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;12) Spirit: read your Bible every day. Prayer is good, but that is you talking to God. Allow God to talk to you—How? through reading your Bible.&lt;br /&gt;Music: Listen to music that will inspire you, relax you and lift your spirits.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;13) Unless you have had success with the other 12 suggestions, this 13th suggestion will be impossible for you to accomplish. It is the suggestion to Give: Focus on helping some one else every day. Giving yourself away is the best way to get yourself out of depression.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;14) Exercise: Again, this suggestion is not possible with out first doing or attempting the other suggestions in this list. It would be silly to think you can exercise while you are depressed. You are on a merry-go-round that is spinning. Exercise will help by causing the extra blood pumping through your veins will contribute to better circulation for your brain that will help with depression. Plus your body will produce endorphins that will naturally lift your mood.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;15) Lastly, negative people: Stay clear of negative people. People who complain can become a disease that is highly contagious and may contribute to depression. Talk positive self talk to yourself every day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;hope this helps. Think about it -- how can a food manufacturer add "natural" flavor to their foods? If it is natural, then it is is the food. Eyes are natural to an animals head -- born their and not man-made to the head. Plastic is not natural because man made it up. Wood is natural made because it is found in nature. So flavor is supposed to be in the food because it is food.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Flavorings must be added to the food because you are not eating food. Flavorings are nothing but chemicals. Clean your car with chemicals. Be careful what chemicals you clean your house with, but never, ever put chemicals in your body.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Flavorings are responsible for: Migraine headaches, muscle spasm, upset stomach, depression, kidney stones and the list goes on and on.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Remember if you don't know what a words means -- keep it out of your mouth. You'll feel better and stop contributing to become more toxic. Their main job is to purify your blood. If you go to the bathroom and you pee a very dark yellow, it usually means that the concentration is high. When water intake is good, the pee should only have a yellowish tint. When the urine is a dark yellow, it is an indication that you need to increase your water intake. Did you notice that I “didn’t” say, “you need to increase your fluid intake?”  The best drink on the planet in clean, unchemical water. No flouride or added anything makes good water. I filter my water because city water or tap water has chlorine added to it and needs some help to be clean. I use an under-the-sink unit with its own tap on the top of the sink. The filter is charcoal – a little more expensive, but worth the cost.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you are having blood pressure problems, migraines or other health problems, start to investigate your intake of fluids. What kind of fluids do you drink?  Gatoraid and other sports drinks are loaded with chemicals – flavor enhancers, chemial colorings and other things your kidneys must filter to help you stay healthy.  Don’t underestimate what you drink because it is crucial to good health. It would be like putting the cheapest, low grade oil in your car and never changing the oil filter. Not good for your car, and not good for your body. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you are thirsty, it is your body calling for water. Don’t drink out of plastic bottles – they outgas chemicals that your body may interpret as estrogen. Estrogen is a hormone, mainly used in a womans body to keep her with curves and body fat to make those curves. Estrogen is found in a man’s body, but in smaller amounts. A man who is developing breasts, is a man with too much estrogen in his body. All beef, chicken and dairy are pumped full of estrogen and is not a healthy choice. Eat organic meats and free-range chickens to cut down on the estrogen in your diet. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lastly, be careful eating canned good – they have an extremely high salt content. One can of tuna can be enough salt for two days!! Excess salt can upset the amount of water retained in your body by the kidneys. The kidneys are responsible for this ratio to be healthy. But, when there is too much salt in your diet, then the kidneys dilute the salt by retaining the water. The water is put into the blood and now you have more blood. All medications have side effects, and from what I read about the little red pills that my physcian wanted to prescribe  for my migraines – the side effects were even scarier than the idea of just dealing with the pain! Dr. H.C.A. Vogel, a naturopath for over 35 years said, “Let me point out that a headache per se  is never an illness, only a symptom pointing to an illness that is causing it.” A headache is your body attempting to communicate a problem to you. Taking pain relievers is good for the pain, but never answers the “why” of your headache.&lt;br /&gt;          Finding the cause of the problem will take work and becoming a medical detective. But, if I told you that changing your diet meant that you could reduce your headaches by as much as 50 percent, would you do it?&lt;br /&gt;            The most common food allergens associated with headache are milk and milk products, corn, chocolate, pork, wheat, fish, nuts, eggs, chickens, onions, oranges, and caffeine. This list is not your death sentence, but just a starting point for your research and experiments.&lt;br /&gt;Depending how painful your headaches are, you may want to take away all of these foods for a time and then slowly add one food at a time. When you add a food, only add one food at a time and wait at least 24 hours of being symptom free before add the next food. The two main keys to your success will be documentation of your experiments and perseverance. Fad diets are not healthy. I went on a fad diet that allowed me to drink only wine and eat only vegetables. In ten days I lost five pounds - - and my driver's license. Diets don't work. The people who write diet books live off the fat of the land and the fat always comes back and brings a friend.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fast food is the norm in America. Most people eat so fast they have to keep throwing water on their silverware so it doesn't overheat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All restaurants serve enriched noodles, enriched bread, crackers, and desserts. When you order whole wheat bread at a restaurant, the FDA says it has to be 10 percent whole wheat. All beef franks have to be 10 percent beef. Kraft 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese isn't 100% cheese, it is 100% grated.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Look at me. How do you know when an advertiser is lying? When their lips are moving!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Food Manufacturers take out 23 nutrients out of our bread and add 6 little fake nutrients back and then call it enriched? Here's an example. If I came up to you and said, "I want to remove 23 of your teeth and give you six little fake teeth back - would you call your mouth enriched? Look this way. All purpose flour has no purpose. Enriched flour contributes to colon cancer and diabetes. Are you betting your life on Healthy Hearsay?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"No fat, low fat" Which is healthy? Neither! Another Healthy Hearsay killer. Margarine is not low fat, it is deadly fat. Don't eat it because it contributes to heart disease, diabetes, liver problems, migraine headaches and many more diseases too many to mention for a blog. Here's an experiment: Leave margarine on your kitchen counter and go on a two-week vacation. Will you have to call the bug man when you come home? No. Roaches won't eat margarine. Think about that! Roaches live on dust but will not eat your margarine. Margarine is dead food, you don't eat dead food - you bury it!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Last Healthy Hearsay. Vitamins. I'm always asked about taking vitamins. People tell me: "Our food doesn't have enough vitamins!" So, biotechnology steps in to raise food that has more vitamins and bugs don't want it. Think about that. If bugs, the lowest life form doesn't want to eat your food - - is it food? David Reuben, M.D. tells us that a year's supply of vitamins can be put in a head of a thimble. Vitamins only make sense if you sell vitamins. Vitamins are dead food. What do you do with dead food? Right, you bury it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But, there is one time when vitamins are okay. Vitamins are made in the laboratory - right? When they successfully make people in the laboratory, they should feed those man-made people the man-made vitamins. Man-made vitamins for man-made people.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is a God-made person, and we should eat God-made food. I thought I needed a Physician to become migraine free. What I needed was the Master Physician who designed my food. If it's processed food, it is an oxymoron because it's not food, it's just stuff. But, when you are in the middle of a migraine attack, who cares? Cutting my head off was okay by me. I would find myself in bed three or four days a week. I would cry out to God, "Please help me. I want my life back!" My migraines planned my life. I was unable to function as a part of my family. Finally, I went to my family doctor for help. The diagnosis?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He said, "You have migraine headaches - there isn't a cure." He started to write quickly on his prescription pad, tore it off and shoved it at me. "Here, take this and it will control your migraines." He started to walk out of the examination room.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I asked, "What is causing my migraines?" He said, "I already told you. You have migraines. This medication will help you control the migraines." he turned to attempt to leave again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I asked again. "Why is my body reacting like this?" He didn't give an answer, but grabbed the door knob of the examing room.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Doc, " I said deperately, "What do these pills do?"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Getting a little annoyed by now because I was well over the average doctor's visit of three minutes, he said, "The medication will enlarge the blood vesself of your brain and control your migraines." He left.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I got to my car and burst into tears! I don't want to have a stroke from having my blood vessels enlarge and go normal repeatedly! That day marked my quest to learn why my body was reacting with pain. I started back to school and got busy learning.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You will read about the common "triggers" of a migraine, but this blog isn't for what most people know. Like what? A common trigger is red wine or MSG. Well, you may find some of the common triggers mentioned here, but mostly you will find the answers no one wants to tell you because it would be bad for their business. We'll go into this later in this blog.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now the great news: I do not suffer from migraines anymore. Yes, I am migraine free. Here's how you can have less migraines immediately from just reading this one blog. Ready? Don't eat hydrogenated oil. That's partially hydrogentated oil, too. Check the ingredient list for your contract for the food you buy. The front of the label is called the "adver-teasing" so you will buy the food product. Can't find any truth there!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If the ingredient list says: hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oil - it is a trigger! Will the migraine happen 30 minutes after you eat it? I wish, then more people would connect the food they are eating with the migraine they are having. Typically, it took my body 24 hours to process this oil and let me know there was a problem with the oil. What words did my body say? P - A - I - N !!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This one ingredient is every where in the Standard American Diet (initials SAD). We call it margarine, crisco, vegetable oil, palm oil - read the labels.
